SAIN is focusing on specific subject areas that are of particular importance for the region. The biologicalrichness of the region makes invasive and native species a central focus point within the regional issues.

  • Aquatic covers all living things within the region that live only in the water.
  • Under Terrestrial biology the user can find information about the non-aquatic living things including amphibians and birds.
  • Air and Water Quality provide access to information related to environmental issues within the region.
  • Finally, Organisms ID presents to users tools and other identification keys to distinguish specific creatures.
