The Southern Appalachian Information Node is developing a collection of maps and data of the regional biology. We are utilizing geographic information systems (GIS) technology to create maps services that will serve as reliable tools for sharing geographic and biological data. This will result in the enhanced use of data and better decision making.

In addition to this, we are continuously increasing our web map and data libraries, which contain maps of the region and biological data sets available in electronic format on the web. If you want to submit a link to our collection, please do and we'll review it. Let us know the name of the page, the URL, and why you think we should include it in our inventory.
